At just 18 years old, Justin Bieber is worth a reported $105 million and is ranked No.3 on Forbes’ list of “The World’s Most Powerful Celebrities,” behind Lady Gaga and Oprah and just ahead of U2. Since Justin Bieber was still a minor when he started to earn the big money, his manager, Scooter Braun put in place a system of checks and balances for Justin.

Scooter explained to Business Insider after accepting an award at the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards ceremony in New York City on Friday.

“We have a business manager, we have two portfolio managers, we have a lawyer, his mom, myself.”

“We set up a trust with a board of advisors and basically created an element where the amount of money he’s made at this point, he would have to be a complete idiot to go broke if he doesn’t invest wisely.”

After the financial bootcamp he is being put through,  unlike most child stars, it’s doubtful Justin will lose what he has earned as a minor.

“Justin is very involved. Once a week I make him spend an hour with his business manager or his lawyer because my whole thing is, the only way this is all going to fall apart is if people allow fear into his life. And through education there is no fear.”

“So I want him to be very educated. He’s a really smart kid, he’s very aware. He asks a lot of the right questions and we make sure he’s extremely well educated so he never has any doubt what’s going on.”

Justin Bieber Finishing Touch on BELIEVE with Kanye West

Justin Bieber got a visit from Kanye West in the studio. Bieber’s bodyguard Kenny Hamilton confirmed tweeting out a photo of the pair working together on an unspecified song.

“Putting the finishing touches on the album and it’s gonna be special,” he wrote while posting an Instagram pic of Kanye tapping away on a laptop in the studio with Justin in the background. He followed with a post that appeared to be another enthusiastic response to the studio get-down, writing, “Also witnessed a current legend and one future legend make magic once again … I love this thing we call music!”

Justin was heavily criticized by Indonesian beliebers, musicians and radio DJs, after his “random country” statement referring to Indonesia at the Supperclub in London about his new album, “Believe.”

After the controversial statement, Justin said on Monday that he loves Indonesia and Indonesian fans.

“One rumor I won’t stand for is saying what me and my fans have isn’t real, Indonesia I see you. I love you. I love all my fans. #fact.

“You can’t break us. All the lies and rumors in the world can’t phase us. This is #family.”

Justin’s messages have prompted positive reactions from Indonesian beliebers.

Indonesian Radio & Fans Ban Justin Bieber over his “Random Country” Statement. Misunderstanding?

Indonesian radio Kiss 105 FM banned Justin Bieber’s songs as a protest against his remarks on Indonesia that sparked strong reactions from his Indonesian Beliebers.

The British tabloid, the Daily Mirror, reported that Justin recently “insulted Indonesia and threw a hissy fit,” when in London to premiere his new album, Believe.

During the event, Justin told an interviewer about the creative process for one of his new tracks “Be Alright”, saying it was recorded in some “random country”. Manager Scooter Braun interrupted and informed him it was produced in Indonesia.

He also said, “I recorded it in a studio. Some little place. They didn’t know what they were doing.” Keep in mind he was referring to the facility, not the country with that second part of his statement.

Kiss FM executive producer Anggi Simanjuntak told The Jakarta Post on Saturday: “His tone was very condescending and he is just a 19-year-old boy. This is a country with more than 200 million citizens.”

Anggi said that the policy was apparently supported by Indonesian beliebers. “Some of them unfollowed or even blocked Bieber’s twitter account from their timelines,” she said.

A Kiss FM announcer, Bea Lubis, said that she would probably cancel the ban, “if Bieber apologized in a sweet manner and promised not to say such things about Indonesia again.”

Justin Bieber on Proposing Selena: “No, I’m too Young”

Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez have been in a relationship for over a year now and although he has no plans to wed, he hasn’t ruled out wedding bells sometime in the future, reports EntertainmentWise.com

When asked about proposing to Selena, Justin told French newspaper Le Parisien in London:

“No, I am too young.
“One day, I will get engaged, when I have found the right person in five or 10 years. It doesn’t mean that Selena is not the right person though, she is going to kill me if I say that!”

Justin is regularly hitting the headlines with Selly, whether it be their constant public display of affection or random speculation, he just seems to brush off all of this though, as he knows that it’s all part of the job…
